Alberta Diabetes Support Groups
Alberta Camp Jean Nelson – D-CAMPS by Diabetes Canada
Summer camp in Water Valley, AB for children living with diabetes and their families.
Details: Campers participate in activities that inspire personal growth, encourage team-building and foster an appreciation of the outdoors. There are three programs provided the overnight camp for children and youth (7-15 years old), leadership development program for teens (15-16 years old), and a family program (all ages family members).
Calgary Insulin Pumpers (CIP)
For current insulin pump users or people interested in pump therapy.
Details: Meetings occur monthly to allow individuals to share information and discuss issues relating to managing insulin dependent diabetes. Although most individuals who attend CIP meetings are pump users, many people attend in order to evaluate whether a pump is right for them.

Various activities nationwide involving exercise and speaker topics for adults with Type 1 diabetes.
